Eucla to Caiguna

It was almost warm today...23degrees. There wasn't even any condensation on the canvas above our heads. The kids jumped in & no dripping on our faces....bonus!

I'm suffering with man flu & im not loving it. I'm craving fruit & there is no where to shop. We had to give up our fruit at the border yesterday. I can only take frozen veg for so long. Two more days & we should find a supermarket.

Eucla golf course. It's also a rifle range. The ground was littered with clay pigeons.

Mandura Pass....

You have to love good old Aussie humour.
I thought I'd shout the kids an iceblock so I headed into the roadhouse. On the shelf behind the counter was a few glass jars with snakes. I said to the man behind the counter..."are the snakes from around here?". Yes, we caught them in here, under the counter. Me..."when?" About 2 months ago when it was a bit warmer. Then we had to go onto the course and play a hole of golf. I was looking for the Death Adder's brother.
Next hole of golf. When the boys went to get their cards stamped at the roadhouse, the young attendant said "I don't know much about golf, but a man came in & he had 22 on his card for that hole".
A beautiful shot of Keira & daddy!

There's a sign you don't see everyday :-)

Our free camp for the night. All the girls need is a tree to climb & they're happy!!!

Google maps shows our location below! Wow...we have a long way to go!!!
