Off to the Kimberley

A 380km drive! Quite warm & not a lot to see...but beautiful landscape. Harsh, dry, but amazingly beautiful.

We found a campspot about an hours drive from tunnel creek.
Not bad for a free camp.

The girls are onto another fairy garden. They are being left behind all over the country.
Tunnel Creek is our adventure for today. Poppy is being very tough with his pink backpack that he borrowed from Keira.
All the photos are beautiful but they still don't do it justice. I'm not a fan of bats so that's my biggest concern.
It's very dark...& wet!
It appears that the bats were really not a worry at all. We found three fresh water crocodiles...are you serious!!! They weren't interested in us but we did have to turn around and walk back. I was nervous when they were not where we'd originally seen them.
We continued along the creek at the end. There were a lot of low branches. Mum missed one :-(
Ouch nanny...home for a rest I think :-)
Home made pizza & beer whilst we watch the sunset!!!
