Katherine is a lot cleaner & greener than I ever expected! I have, however, seen more police cars, bikes & wagons today than I have seen since we left home.

Our van park is not glamorous but our sites are fab. Shaded....and $2 WASHING MACHINES....bargain!!!!

We headed into town for a grocery shop. We need to stock up on fruit & vegetables. We were told that nothing could be taken across the border but, again, this was incorrect! 

Katherine Hot Springs. This is a popular place to be. I think it's Katherine's answer to the beach. They weren't hot, quite lovely actually.

This is the pool where the springs arrive. There is another entry point where you can actually swim along towards the waterfall. A very pretty place to swim.
