Argyle Dam

We decided that we'd do a day trip out to Argyle Dam because Michael has to fly out tomorrow & would miss it.
It is the home of 30,000 fresh water crocodiles. I'm happy checking things out from the lookout!
What we being pumped from the pumping station back into the Ord River...a sight to see.
Morning tea at a lovely picnic area by the river.
Looking for cloud animals but there are no clouds.
A view from the dam wall looking back up the river.
On the way home we visited the Zebra Rock Gallery. I fell in love with a set of coasters but I don't know how I'd get them home unbroken :-(
The kids had the opportunity to feed the catfish. There were also turtles in the water.
