Katherine gorge

Early morning run. Buggar this time changeover. I was enjoying the early sunrises. It didn't get light until 7am. I'm not keen to run in the dark when I don't know a town.
An old disused railway bridge. It's pretty cool but I could see the water below.
Look at the stamp. Newcastle built.
I saw a police wagon go past, then again, and again. I started to wonder why. The houses didn't look any worse than I'd seen. They were all surrounded by large temporary fencing. When I turned to run back, I noticed humpies down by the river, surrounded by trash.
Ha, ha...I survived and have another story to tell!

Today we got up & headed to Katherine Gorge. We ran into our neighbours from Kunnanurra. It's a small world when you're travelling.

The walk to the lookout was quite steep but the kids handled it really well.

We decided at the top of the lookout we'd take the loop walk back home. We shouldn't have. It wasn't pretty or interesting, just a hot & dry gravel road.
Coffee on the verandah!
An afternoon swim at the hot springs (video posted to Facebook).  I need a rest (lol)
I know....another sunset! I can't help it :-) This one is for daddy back in Sydney xxx
