Winton

This morning we say farewell to Hughenden. My earring morning took me alongside the river. We were chatting to the council ranger yesterday & he was telling us how ICE has hit & is becoming a huge problem! As a community how do we express our concern over this epidemic! It scares me for our children, it really does. Move to the country for a quieter life...apparently not!
The only thing missing was the water!!!
What did you say? A population of 1200 and a beautiful run track with...exercise equipment! We have hundreds of thousands of taxpayers & nothing like this. We are planning new suburbs & still nothing :-(
Another windmill...sorry!!!
Corfield Pub! Stop & say hi...but not today because we are closed.
Today we arrive in Winton. This is Australia's dinosaur capital. Home to the only dinosaur stampede recorded in the world. The only thing friendlier than the people we've encountered...are the flies!

The caravan park has nightly entertainment & tonight Isaac & Keira volunteered to get up on stage & act out some Australian bush poetry. They did Spike Milligans "arrow to the throat". That means they grabbed their necks & fell to the floor. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. The entertainers were fabulous!
