Porcupine Gorge

Camped by the river. A little bit of water would be lovely but it's a very popular run spot (in the river).

We head off bright & early for a morning of adventuring yesterday. It's starting to warm up so early is best for a gorge walk.
Too cute! The downhill wasn't too bad. I did see a snake though:-( it was 1.2km straight up stairs. Isaac nailed it but the little ones struggled a little.
The photo doesn't do this gorge justice. There is no water but imagine if there was.
The kids thought the different courses sandstone looked like melted rainbow paddle pop.
A very large hole eroded into the sandstone. That would be a scary drop.
A well deserved swim at the local pool. $10 entry for the six of us. It's certainly better value than our pools at home.
