Roger is home

Michael & I headed out for a walk on this cold, rainy day. Good opportunity to clear our heads.

I called at lunchtime to confirm that the car would finally be ready. I was told it could be picked up at 3... One week after we dropped it off.

I need to do a grocery shop & Michael needs the car back to pick up the new tyre for the caravan. Michael had to repair a bearing but we hadn't noticed it loose & it completely scrubbed out a tyre...buggar!
Tenae spotted Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Roger is home. A grand total of $8,200...I don't know whether to swear or cry. It was even more than we expected. Certainly puts a dent in our holiday fund. I cannot praise NRMA Premium care enough. They managed to organise a loan car for the entire week. Without them we would have been buggared. After 5 days Toyota finally offered us a Yaris! Wow...thanks so much!

Let's go find some sun & surf. Freemantle village is sooooo not my new home.
They did wash it though :-)
