Goodbye Freemantle

Let's go find some sun & sand!!!

We topped up with diesel (in the tank with no leak), visited the toilet, paid, Roger won't start. Are you serious? We had two offers of assistance....none of which were from anyone employed by Coles express. Poppy unhitched & towed us out of the way of the diesel pump. At that point I shed a tear.
I think Michael was ready to take an axe out! We manually pumped the fuel pump,  thinking it may have been an air lock. It turns out that one of the injectors was not tightened. We had a small fuel leak & the injector was sucking air. The car is still blowing a little smoke. I phoned Toyota & have been assured that it's just residual oil being burnt off. We love you Roger but you are testing our loyalty at this point.
The Pinnacles are pretty amazing. I was surprised by the area it's spread over. They are limestone formations. It makes you wonder how many more are hidden under the sand.
Champion walkers they are all becoming.

We met a family last week who sent me a text to say that they had found a fabulous campspot about 50km from where we were. $15 per night & still spots available. Why not, we thought. We didn't let on to the kids. They were thrilled when we arrived.
Swimming on a winters day. It was around 5pm. They did need a warm shower when they got out.
Charlotte & Michael...she loves having her daddy around so much.
I have a date with this sand dune in the morning :-)
Eva, Drew & Keira :-)))
