Freemantle...still

I'm losing my sense of humour. We still don't have our car back. Apparently, a part was missing from the delivery. We didn't find out until we called to check on progress. I believe we'll have it back tomorrow...BUT...I have heard that before. Thanks to all that have offered condolences by phone & text. We're made of tougher stuff than that. We'll finish our gap year, just with a little more debt than we expected :-(

The good news is that, after being towed by dad to the repairer, our van has been re-screened & hopefully we can keep the mozzies at bay as we head North.
Look...just an empty camp site....losers!

I bought Groupon vouchers to go ice skating. We thought whilst we had no car & no home, that today would be a good opportunity. The kids were AMAZING! We arrived in the carpark to find 4 school buses parked...buggar. The big kids were so polite & helpful. I actually sought out their teachers & complimented them.
Nan & Pop were the paparazzi until they froze & left us to it. All the kids tried their best. Isaac finally managed two laps unassisted at the end. No frame & no help from me. I think they'll all sleep well tonight. Charlotte was proud that "she only fell on her butt, not on her head". I'm glad of that.
