Mikkira homestead

After a quick trip into Port Lincoln for a wheel alignment.....whilst I stayed at camp to get some school done... We were on the road again!

Farewell our little emu family :-)))
Oops... Forgot generator fuel. Quick stop & Muchael couldn't help himself...he had to see what all the fuss was about. I'll stick with hot, unsweetened coffee. I don't think he was sold either!!!
Sleafoard...these sheep have a tough home. It's so green..unlike most of SA.
Sleaford  Bay. Wild old surf but so, so pretty to look at. Water is far too cold. I just got my toes wet...that was enough!
It's never too cold for the kids to have a play. The waves are so random though...I wouldn't let them swim, even if it wasn't so cold!
We are expecting 80km ph winds up along the West coast tonight. We've found a farmstay of sorts. It's called Mikkirs Homestead. Very pretty. We were told we might see koalas in the wild. It's getting a little ridiculous...they are everywherex must of the trees we've seen have at least one koala. They are holding on for dear life in this wind.
Wide open green space. A shower & toilet. Plenty of nature walks which we'll take a look at tomorrow :-)))
