We found a hike we'd like to do but thought that it might be a bit tough for the little people. Michael decided he'd get up early & attack &, after sightseeing, I'd take the afternoon shift. It wasn't too tough...I turned it into a shuffle/hike. It was 1hr/45 return but there were numerous hikes that set off together. You needed to follow the path we'd chosen. Anyone who knows me, knows that I get lost in a shopping centre carpark. Anyway, any insecurities I had that I'd taken the right path were put at ease by this sign....
That's telling it like it is!!!
This little fellow was waiting for some breakfast leftovers. Hmmm...he obviously hasn't seen breakfast at our place.
We thought we'd go & test out Roger on the sandunes. They were BIG & there was no one else around. When we lost sight of the guide poles we quit.
The most beautiful water...but so hostile. You could not surf or boat. Pretty to look at....BUT!!!
We did find out that Coffin Bay was originally known as Coffin's Bay & was named by Matthew Flinders after one of his friends that was involved in maitime trade. Hmmm...nothing to do with coffins...so that's good news!!!
