A funny thing....sitting around for happy hour yesterday afternoon when the neighbours invited themselves over for a drink. Such a lovely couple...both widowers...married three years. Anyway, sitting there, having a chat, when the kids started filing out of the van. He stopped, looked towards the van & says "There's no more coming out of there is there?". They are travelling in a big 5th wheeler parked next to the six of us in our expander...it was gold!!!!

A restless nights sleep again. Tenae woke at 10.30pm with a headache. I settled her on the lounge & eventually bed again but I couldn't sleep. I tossed & turned & finally around midnight started to doze off. I heard Tenae stirring & next minute...sick everywhere...I mean everywhere. Poor little pet. Spent the next 20mins searching for clean linen, whilst trying to not wake the others. Another challenge for us in daily life...lol. 

A good morning of school... I think we've turned a corner. They are great. We are doing a little each day rather than trying to do big days. They concentrate better & I think it's better for routine.

The rain broke a little so we thought we'd try to get out. There's a nature trail across the road...6km return trip. We set off on our bikes. Tenae was feeling a little dusty so we turned before the end. I'll head out for a shuffle in the morning.

Great sculptures along the track...emu, kangaroo, wombat, echidna, snake.

The girls spotted an op shop yesterday that they wanted to visit today. I am loving op shops. Quicksilver dress shorts for Isaac for $2.00 & a gorgeous duffle coat for Tenae for $4.00...and it goes to a good cause. 

It's fully lined...shopping at op shops...we really are gypsys :-(
