Bundaberg

I'm really liking Bundaberg. It's s lovely, friendly town full of beautiful old buildings.
This riverside Boardwalk is nicer than the one at Airlie Beach. A very pleasant early start.
A visit to the Bundaberg Rum Distillery! It was very interesting even for those who don't drink rum. I did, however, partake in a tasting. I don't suggest a 12noon rum tasting (lol).
Did you know that 96% of the rum distilled at Bundy is drunk in Australia., 3% in New Zealand & the final 1% is exported to Europe & the U.S.
Look what we found!!!! Aldi has two stores in Bundaberg.
We are running out of days with nan & pop...we part ways on Sunday. We NEVER go out for dinner so we thought we'd head out for a farewell dinner at Sizzler. The kids had a blast! Uncle Rees gave advice to Isaac..."You're not full until you're sweating". Well, sweat he did!
What a beautiful evening by the Bundaberg river! It's so pretty 😀
