Bjelke Peterson Dam

Today we farewell nan & pop! WOW...what an adventure we've had. The dramas with Roger nearly broke us. I think we would have been close to quitting if nan & pop weren't there to mop up the mess. We've shared memories to last a lifetime & I know the kids will treasure this time for the rest of their lives.

We decide to get an early start & head to Eumundi markets. I've got to say that this would be the best markets we've visited. Some of the artworks were AMAZING! A little out of our price range but wow!
Isaac managed to play a part in the magic show. He helped float a table.
We said our farewells & we headed off towards Kingaroy. The Australian countryside is so diverse it's just incredible. Sugar cane yesterday & forestry today.
Keira spent the last of her pocket money on this mermaid tail at the markets. I thought..."what the" but it's her pocket money. We managed to check in & have time for a swim before the storm hit. She had a blast with it.
After a week we've removed the bandage. How amazing is the human body. She certainly did a good job but it's healing so well.
And then the heavens opened. Michael & I are huddled under the awning in a tiny little dry spot. It's times like this I miss a lounge ....and lounge room :-)
