Colac

We booked two nights at the Showground whilst we had some work done to the Troopy. Of course, Troopy is never easy...in addition to handbrake we also needed rear brake pads.

Anyway, I thought it was a good day to catch up on washing. I was at the laundry nice & early to get the first two loads in. I came back, after getting breakfast for the kids, to hang out my washing. As I got closer to the laundry I see two police cars & an ambulance. Apparently, one of the permanent residents got an unfriendly visit from her boyfriend. She was being loaded into an ambulance & the police were taking statements.

I also forgot to mention the resident who greeted us yesterday trying to sell us her Woolworths gift vouchers. Legit, I think not! Or the old lady who stands and waves at the planes that fly overhead.

I'm sad...but we leave tomorrow :-(

It made school easy. We locked the doors & did school inside today. The kids didn't want to leave the safety of the van. We ventured out for a bike ride this afternoon. We found a really nice park for a play & coffee.
