Mt Gambier to Arrarat

Said goodbye to Miunt Gambier this morning. A lovely drive through the Grampians. It's on our bucket list for a return trip. Lots of bike riding & bush walking if you had more time.

Found a fabulous campspot just out of Ararat. On the banks of a "lake" that is empty. It has a great play are for the kids. $5 per night...toilets & showers. Apparently they've had no rain for 3years :-(

Coffee break with a family of emus :-)

A small walk in the Grampians. Quite a warm day but I'm sure it would be freezing in winter...brrrr
