Bay of Fires

We left Scottsdale this morning. We didn't know the amazing landscape we were to see. The roads were so winding that I was carsick. I ended up driving but was very nervous. Very winding, narrow roads but I did it.

We stopped at a beautiful town called Derby. We found a schoolhouse museum that was a school until 1975. It had over 200 students. School desks that were original. The kids thought it was fabulous.
The beautiful farms that we drove past. Even the cows look healthier...must be the lack of pollution.
Our campsite at Bay of Fires...
Absolutely incredible...the only thing missing was about an extra 10-15 degrees.
Didn't stop us having a swim :-))))

Day 81 and we finally got our fire. Jacket potatoes & toasted marshmallow!
