Day Seven Travels

Well goodbye Gum Bend Lake, with the cockies and galahs doing their usual early morning song and dance we were up packing early to be away by 7:15am.
First piddle stop just out of Condobolin reminded me i needed my phone fro the tracker, thus the missing bit at the start :-)
Lake Cargelligo, morning tea stop, amazing large natural lake formation in the outback of New South Wales, the addition of the levee banks in 1901 were to help retain the flood waters.

Day seven start

  1. My mum spoke fondly of Lake Cargelligo. I will have put it on my bucket list.

  4. It was fab! Donation for camping. Hot showers, toilet, BBQ. Great pontoon that kids could jump off. You can walk the whole way around the lake.
